1. Service description

• • AI-Fit Counter is a web application (PWA) that uses Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision to count exercise repetitions (push-ups, squats) through the device's camera.
• • AI processing occurs in the user's browser via WebAssembly (MediaPipe Pose Landmarker). No video or images are sent to external servers.
• • The app records training statistics, allows progress tracking, and enables competition on leaderboards.

2. Medical and health disclaimer

• ✕ AI-Fit Counter is NOT a medical device nor a health service.
• ✕ The app does NOT diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition.
• ! Users MUST consult a doctor or health professional before starting any exercise program.
• ✕ AI-Fit Counter is NOT responsible for injuries, pain, discomfort, or any physical harm that may occur during or after using the application.
• • Posture corrections (AI Posture Correction, Premium feature) are for guidance only and do NOT replace supervision by a certified physiotherapist or trainer.
• • Calorie counting is an approximate estimate and should not be used for medical or nutritional decisions.

3. System accuracy

• • AI-powered rep counting has a margin of error and 100% accuracy is NOT guaranteed.
• • Accuracy depends on: lighting, distance to camera (~2m recommended), angle, full body visibility, and device speed.
• • The accuracyAvg data (0-100%) is an internal model metric, not a guarantee of clinical precision.

4. Registration and user accounts

• • Lazy Auth (Deferred Registration): Users can complete their first exercise session without registering. Data is stored with a guestId (locally generated UUID).
• • When creating an account, previous guest sessions are automatically migrated to the registered user.
• • Registration methods: Email/Password or Google OAuth 2.0.
• • Users are responsible for keeping their credentials secure.
• • Minimum age to create an account: 13 years.

5. Camera usage

• • The app requests camera access exclusively for real-time body pose detection.
• • Users must grant explicit permission through their browser.
• • NO video or images are recorded, stored, or transmitted at any time.
• • Users can revoke camera permission at any time from their browser settings.
• • If the camera captures third parties in the frame, it is the user's responsibility to ensure they have consent or are in a private space.

6. Plans and subscriptions

• • Subscriptions are managed through Lemon Squeezy as payment processor.
• • Monthly billing with automatic renewal.
• • Cancellation: Users can cancel at any time. Premium access is maintained until the end of the billed period.
• • Refunds: Subject to Lemon Squeezy's policy. In case of dispute, contact support@aifitcounter.com.
• • AI-Fit Counter reserves the right to modify prices with at least 30 days' prior notice.

7. Acceptable use

Users agree to:

• ✕ Not manipulate session data or leaderboards (e.g., injecting fake API requests).
• ✕ Not reverse-engineer the AI model or detection algorithms.
• ✕ Not use the app in environments where the camera may capture minors without parental consent.
• ✕ Not use bots, automated scripts, or tools to generate artificial sessions.
• ✕ Not attempt to access other users' accounts.

8. Intellectual property

• • All source code, AI models, design, trademarks, and content of AI-Fit Counter are the property of the developer. All rights reserved.
• • Users' personal data and training statistics belong to the user.
• • MediaPipe is the property of Google and is used under its Apache 2.0 license.

9. Leaderboards and public data

• • By participating in leaderboards, the user's displayName and country may be visible to other users.
• • Users can opt out of having a displayName (displayed as "Anonymous").

10. Service availability

• • AI-Fit Counter is provided "as is" (AS-IS) without guarantees of continuous availability.
• • The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or force majeure.
• • Rep counting works offline once the app is loaded (the WASM model runs locally). Data synchronization requires a connection.

11. Modifications to terms

• • AI-Fit Counter reserves the right to modify these terms.
• • Changes will be notified via an in-app notice or email.
• • Continued use after changes implies acceptance.

12. Termination

• • AI-Fit Counter may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
• • Users can delete their account at any time by contacting support@aifitcounter.com.
• • Upon account deletion, all personal data and associated sessions are permanently erased (irreversible process).

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

• § These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia.
• § Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of [CIUDAD, COLOMBIA].
